Mid-Major Poll | Catamounts on Television

BURLINGTON, Vt. - The University of Vermont men's basketball team is ranked 25th in the latest CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 poll. Winners of 11 of their last 12, the Catamounts are 20-7 overall and are in first place in the America East standings with an 11-3 conference mark.

Vermont is the second-highest ranked team in New England behind only Northeastern (#19), while the Catamounts' BracketBusters opponent Buffalo comes in at No. 20. Vermont is one of only nine teams in the poll to have at least 20 victories.

UVM is back in action on Tuesday when it faces UMBC on the road starting at 7 p.m. in a game that will be televised on Comcast Sports Net New England, CSN Mid-Atlantic Plus and ESPN Full Court. CSNNE is channel 40 for Comcast subscribers throughout Vermont. CSNNE is also located on channel 435 on DISH Network and channel 630 on DirecTV. CSNMA Plus is only available in the Maryland area. The Catamounts will play on TV a minimum of 13 times this season. The game can be heard live on WEAV-AM 960 and DOT-FM 96.7, and on the internet at www.UVMathletics.com with the audio stream provided by SportsJuice.com.
