Newsflash: Trimboli May Miss America East Tournament PDF Print E-mail

Vermont basketball star guard Mike Trimboli, who has an undisclosed illness and missed the regular-season finale, might not return to the lineup for Vermont’s America East quarterfinal game against Albany, according to Vermont head coach Mike Lonergan.

A source close to the team tells VTSN that Trimboli is suffering from a second bout of mononucleosis (mono), as he also suffered from the same virus his freshman year at Vermont.
