Mike Trimboli Update PDF Print E-mail
Written by VT Sports Network Article

UVM Release and the WCAX Channel 3 News:

UVM has issued an update on the health and status of men's captain Mike Trimboli. Head athletic trainer Allison Shepard said in a statement that, "Mike Trimboli was held out of last weekend's game to speed the recovery of a viral illness. He continues to improve daily, but his status for this weekend's quarterfinal match-up vs. Albany is questionable." Before missing Sunday's regular season finale at Maine, Trimboli had started 123 consecutive games for the Cats. When asked about his captain's status yesterday, head coach Mike Lonergan said he is preparing the team as if Trimboli will not be available, but hoping that he can play when the Catamounts take on host Albany in the America East quarterfinals Saturday at noon.
