VERMONT MEN’S HOCKEY NOTEBOOK
The seventh-ranked University of Vermont men’s hockey team (19-8-5, 14-7-4 HEA) hosts No. 9 New Hampshire (12-16-4, 7-13-3 HEA) for a two-game series this Friday and Saturday at 7:05 p.m. at Gutterson Fieldhouse. Both games can be heard live on the flagship station for UVM hockey on WVMT-AM 620 and on the Internet on SportsJuice.com starting with the pregame show at 6:30 p.m. Video streaming is available on a pay-per-view basis on www.UVMathletics.com via B2 Networks.

SENIOR SALUTE
Vermont will honor its five seniors immediately following Saturday's game against New Hampshire. Corey Carlson (Two Harbors, Minn.), Kyle Kuk (Monroe, Mich.), Peter Lenes (Shelburne, Vt.), Dean Strong (Mississauga, Ont.) and senior manager John Gobeil (Derby, Vt.) will all be recognized. The group has been part of one of the best four-year stretches in school history, winning a total of 72 games heading into this weekend. The seniors will also be honored at the 2009 Rally Awards that will be held on Tuesday, May 5 at the Flynn Theatre in downtown Burlington starting at 7:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. The Rally Awards is an all-sports celebration highlighting the accomplishments of student-athletes at UVM.
