Co-Champion Vermont Catamounts Upset By #7 UAlbany PDF Print E-mail

The University of Vermont men's basketball team lost, 56-52 to seventh-seeded UAlbany in the America East Quarterfinals on Saturday.

The Catamounts ended their season 23-8, 13-4 America East and earned a share of the regular season championship.  Vermont Seniors Mike Trimboli, Colin McIntosh, Ryan Shields and Jordan Dean end their careers with a devastating loss and another season faling short from the NCAA tournament.
