WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - On Sunday, both University of Vermont Catamount Basketball teams clinched berths into the America East Championship game. Earlier in the day the Lady Cats rode a strong performance by Courtnay Pilypaitis (12 points, 16 rebounds) knocking off #3 Boston University 69-52. They will go back to Hartford on Saturday to play the Hartford Hawks (18-0 in conference play) for the America East Crown. The men watched Boston University upset the #1 seed before their match against UNH. Going into the game, the Cats knew they could bring the championship game back to Patrick with a win as they used strong defense on an off shooting night to get the victory. Garvey Young led all scorers with 15 points as UVM knocked off UNH 57-38. The Catamounts will host Boston University on ESPN 2 Saturday, March 13 at noon in Catamount Country.
