BURLINGTON, Vt. – Senior Evan Fjeld (Durham, N.C.) netted a game-high 25 points as the Vermont men's basketball team rolled to a 69-50 victory over NJIT on Saturday at Patrick Gym. The Cats led by as many as 23 in the game, as they improve to 4-1 for the first time since the 1996-97 season. Fjeld went 10-for-15 from the floor and added seven rebounds and two blocks, as he has now topped 20 points three times in the last four games. Junior Matt Glass (Underhill Center, Vt.) was the only other Catamount in double figures with 15 points on 6-for-8 shooting, while freshman Brian Voelkel (Pleasantville, N.Y.) added game-highs for both rebounds (12) and assists (5).
