BURLINGTON, Vt. – The University of Vermont men's basketball team is ranked 21st in the latest CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Poll released on Monday. It marks the first time this season that the Catamounts have earned a spot in the rankings.
Vermont is the only team in New England ranked among the top 25, as the Catamounts have jumped out to a 4-1 record this season. UVM has wins over Quinnipiac and NJIT, who were both picked to win their respective conferences, and Siena who is coming off three straight trips to the NCAA Tournament.
