Mid-Major Poll
BURLINGTON, Vt. – The University of Vermont men's basketball team moved up seven spots and is now ranked No. 14 in the latest CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Poll released on Monday. The Catamounts tied for the largest jump up in the poll this week.

Vermont (6-1) is the highest ranked team in New England and the only team from the America East among the top 25. The Catamounts have won five straight games overall and are coming off an 82-78 win over Yale on Saturday.

The Catamounts next face No. 18 BYU on Wednesday at the Glens Falls Civic Center in Glens Falls, N.Y. starting at 7 p.m. The game will be televised nationally on CBS College Sports and can be heard live on The Zone 960 AM and Champ 101.3 FM, and on the Internet at SportsJuice.com.
