ORONO, Maine – Behind 19 points from senior Evan Fjeld, the University of Vermont men's basketball team defeated Maine on the road on Wednesday night 73-57. “I am very pleased with that win. I thought we did a great job getting the lead in the second half and were able to run some clock,” said Vermont head coach Mike Lonergan. “Any time on the road when you can get a win like that with what was at stake, I will take it. That was great and now we can enjoy our trip to Charleston.”
