BURLINGTON -- The University of Vermont will move its 204th commencement on Sunday indoors because of an "unfavorable weather forecast," according to a posting on the university's Web site.
The 9 a.m. ceremony will be held in the Multipurpose Facility in the Athletic Complex, with overflow seating available in the adjoining Patrick Gymnasium. Tickets are not required.
The National Weather Service is calling for a chance of showers on Sunday, with highs in the upper 50s.
The College of Arts and Sciences ceremony, also previously scheduled to take place on the Green, will also happen in the Multipurpose Facility at 2:30 p.m., and the Graduate College Hooding Ceremony on Saturday at 1 p.m. has also moved indoors to the Patrick Gym.
