Source: Fox Sports Brown University has tabbed assistant coach Jesse Agel to replace Craig Robinson.
According to sources close to the situation, an official announcement is expected Monday.
Agel spent the past two seasons at Brown, and opted not to go with Robinson to Oregon State. Prior to that, Agel spent 17 seasons at Vermont and was critical to the Catamounts' success.
Vermont won three consecutive America East titles from 2003-05, and pulled one of the most memorable upsets in NCAA Tournament history with a first-round victory against Syracuse.
The other two candidates were Washington assistant Paul Fortier and American assistant Mike Brennan.
