JP:When did you start playing Basketball?
GH: Officially, in 4th grade.

JP:What is your best memory from West Rutland high school?
GH:When I hit a game winning shot to get us into the championship game.

JP:What is your Height, weight, and shoe size?
GH:6'1... 190... 11

JP:How were you recruited to UVM?
GH:I played a person who they were looking at and I caught their eye.  The coaches came to other games and liked what they saw.

JP:What interested you the most about playing for Vermont?
GH:Close to home and it seemed most comfortable there.

JP:Can you talk about your style of play as a combo guard?
GH:My last year of high school I was a shooting gaurd, but before that I was a point guard.

JP:I heard you went to Patrick Gym to see UVM game last season. What did you think about the team? and how do you think you can help the team?
GH:It seems they run the floor and focus on defense.   I was brought up thinking defense wins game and I like to push the ball.

JP:You will attend summer school, correct?  Have you practiced with UVM players yet?
GH:I have not taken any classes at UVM, but I just finished an online course.  I have been up a couple of times to play with the team.

JP:You were playing for a Division 4 school--Did you consider transfering to a Division 1 school?
GH:I did but it wouldn't have happened untill my senior year and I decided to stay with a great caoch.

JP:I know you are an excellent shooter. What else is your strength?
GH:I am a great passer.  I see the floor very well.  I would say defense is the best part of my game.

JP:Why did you decide on number 15?
GH:well number 21 had been taken and 15 wasn't used in the past few years.

JP:Who was your hero when you were young?
GH:I wouldnt say hero but I looked up to my best friend that was two years older and my neighbor.  We played basketball every day and night and did everything together.

JP:Did you decide on a major?
GH:I'm not positive but I am heading in the engineering direction.

JP:I heard you were born in the west side oh Ohio.  When did you move to Vermont?
GH: I was born in Vermont but I put Ohio under my facebook account for safety reasons.

JP:You will join the team in the fall and take the big trip to Hawaii (Rainbow classic).  Are you excited?
GH:I am very excited about that.  I have never been to Hawaii before.

JP:What is your favorite music?
GH:Nothing specific but I like layed back music such as country.

JP:What are your goals entering the 08-09 season? and during your four year career in general?
GH:I'm hoping to get to know UVM very well and have a very successful basketball season and decide on a career goal.

JP:What will you try to improve on this summer?
GH:Quickness, dribbling and strength.

JP:Congratulations and we can’t waiting for you to play at Patrick gym!!
GH:Thank you.  I am looking forward to helping the team!
