Towson beat Loyola (at Towson) 83-69 - we lost, on the road, by 2.

I know early season Sagrins are not accurate, but _base_d on today's ratings, it looks like Vermont by 2, so it should be a close game.

Hopefully Patrick is rockin' and the inside, outside combination is working. The team appears to be on the right track. We've seen explosive showings by Blakely and Trimboli, but I'm waiting for some of the other players to step up when the major scorers have an off game. It's still tough to really read the team with the level of competition they've played thus far.

Regardless of ratings, UVM can't take anyone lightly. Let's hope their losses so far are the only consecutive defeats on the schedule.

Nice win...not a great game...but a really nice win.
Trimboli looked good and played well.
Shields...9 reb and showed some potential...
Blakely...great steal and hoop late...but, oh that foul.
CMac...hell, he hit the big shot.
Kyle...steady...didn't shoot too well...but is so important.
Acouri saw a good amount of time.

40 to 40 in rebounds...which is better than it has been...



Towson was athletic....Kevin Durant's brother plays for them...and he is not their stud...

Big props to Sheilds for playing a solid game. 9 boards against a bigger Towson front line.

Cats awoke in the second half with Blakley leading the charge. Mike played well and hit some key shots and two or three shots called two's that could have been three's.

Hope Timmy can come back soon but had a noticable limp on the sideline.
