That's too bad. He reminded me a lot of Corey Bronner. Would have been a heckuva player for us.

It may be unrelated, but I believe that Mead was cited for underage drinking in the last couple weeks at a party in Winooski (there was something in the Freep about this). Interesting that this happens soon after that.

I too thought Mead was going to be a good player for the team. Hopefully someone can step in. Losing Bronner hurts, but the rest of the team is in tact, so Vermont still should be pretty good next season. It would be nice to see Lee bounce back after a pretty disappointing sophomore year. Him and TJ Gore I believe can blow by anyone in the league...

I'm hoping Lee's worked to improve his weaknesses. I've seen 1-move speed players have a similar introduction to college soccer before. The problem is once teams know your move they can play with good shape/depth to negate your speed. It takes the player learning the right runs to open the D and it takes the player improving on back to the goal moves.
