 Source: WCAX Interview

Channel 3 Sports Director JJ Cioffi spoke with him (Maurice Joseph) about his decision to become a Catamount.

MoJo: When I first decided to transfer I wanted to go to a school who was all about winning. Vermont has been to the NCAA Tournament a lot in the last couple of years. It was important to me. I like the direction the program is going. They've got good players in Trimboli and Blakely, Cieplicki. So I just wanted to be part of that and it's close to home. It's an hour and half, hour forty five minutes away so I guess it's the best of both worlds.

JJ: Why the transfer out of Michigan State ? It's a real high profile program.

MoJo: Yeah, it's a great program, great coach great teammates over there. It wasn't a bitter departure by any means I just felt like I wanted a more focal role on a team and I decided to transfer because of that.
