Channel 3 Sports reported that Maurice Joseph will undergo shoulder surgery.

Joseph, the Montreal native who opted out of the Big 10 school to play for UVM will sit out this coming season due to the NCAA transfer rule.

UVM Head Athletic Trainer Allison Shepherd says Joseph will have surgery on his left shoulder in the coming month to repair a torn labrum and he'll be ready to train with the team in the spring.
