An online college basketball recruiting source has reported that junior high school prospect Jordan Clarke, a 6-foot-8, 235lb junior forward out of North Bethesda Good Council (MD) will be visiting the University of Vermont this weekend.

Clarke, who missed most of his sophomore season because of a broken leg, has had a successful Summer playing for the Maryland Crusaders (AAU) and preparing for his Senior season.  In addition to Vermont, Clarke has been receiving interest from Holy Cross, Navy, High Point, Binghamton, Cal, Iowa, Notre Dame, Pitt, Purdue, Stanford, Vanderbilt, Virginia and Virginia Tech.

If the University of Vermont can land this recruit, it would be considered yet another strong signing for the rising Catamounts.

It has been mentioned that Clarke could come to a final decision within the coming months.
