I have read lately the concern for high school sports coverage and would like to also voice my concern for the apparent bias against the smaller schools in central Vermont. I am a fan of Northfield Marauder sports and am lucky enough to be able to get the scores for the Times Argus. On a good day, there may be a paragraph summarizing the game, and yes, we have seen the occasional article. I would love to read in depth about the games — and quite frankly, I am not sure what I would do with a picture! I am fairly certain that these town are in the paper's distribution area, so maybe they should be treated as so. I take nothing away from the athletes at SHS, MHS or U-32; it's just a shame that WHS, NHS and even Websterville Baptist athletes don't get the recognition they deserve throughout the sports seasons. Great job to those athletes – I hope to see more of your success in the paper.
